I’m Isabelle Melody—lawyer, legal strategist, and founder of Wrinkles, where I help growing businesses run smarter, faster, and with fewer legal headaches
For nearly 25 years, I’ve worked as an in-house counsel and legal executive across four continents, supporting companies in manufacturing, tech, defense, automation, and infrastructure. I’ve negotiated billion-dollar contracts, guided cross-border M&A, built compliance programs, and led global legal teams in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Here’s how I think about legal: it’s not the brake; it’s the oil. The right legal partner keeps your business running smoothly, protecting the engine while helping you reach top speed. And just like with machines, the quality of the oil makes all the difference.

I grew up in France, where my family still lives, and moved to the U.S. more than two decades ago. Today, I balance legal strategy with real-life logistics as a mother of three, a caretaker to two dogs and two cats, and an insatiable traveler. My favorite destinations? Bali for soul, Iceland for awe.

Wrinkles was born from the belief that grey hairs, laugh lines, and time-tested judgment are wildly underrated. The business world doesn’t always make room for seasoned professionals, but smart companies know: if you want clarity, efficiency, and real-world legal strategy, you call someone who’s been around the block (and took notes).
I’m not a young woman anymore. I’ve earned my wrinkles, every single one of them. And I wear them with pride and dignity. They come from laughing often, learning fast, and living by the motto: serious, not solemn.
My friend started Greybeard. I started Wrinkles. We both believe that experience is an asset.
